I believe Marklin made a model of this some time ago in HO and there was a Gauge 1 version. Don't know about O scale examples.
My brother had an "O" gauge rail zeppelin. I thought it was Marklin, not positive. I'll ask him the next time we speak.

Yes, there was an O gauge version made, but not certain who did back in early 90s, I believe. Have seen in train shows and advertised in magazines years past. Germany's early version of high speed rail travel.

They also made an all chrome version. I converted this from windup to 3 rail electric a while back.

The rail zeppelin was essentially a 1929 version of the New York Central's M-497 jet powered RDC-3. It was a way of testing if conventional track could handle high train speeds when conventional equipment couldn't achieve those speeds.
