I just bought a four-car set of 2400-series passenger cars from the Conventional Classics series. These are the silver cars with the roof vent screws. I want to run these in TMCC/Legacy behind my LionMaster Hudson, so they'll be running at 18v.
Question #1: what kind and what voltage are the bulbs inside? (They haven't arrived yet)
Question #2: Who sells higher voltage bulbs so they don't "glow"?

I'd be shocked if the bulbs are anything but 12-14 volt bulbs. Lots of folks sell 18V compatible bulbs.
I get my bulbs from Town and Country Hobbies. Very large assortment of all types of bulbs including soft white LED's
LED is the way to go. I replaced the bulbs in my set of older 2400 cars and it looks
a lot nicer plus there is no heat from the bulbs.
