Until my still-not-cancelled (when last I looked) NYC R-2 freight electric shows up (yeah, right - after 3 years?), I won't be ordering anything from them. That Mohawk looked good, but, no. Don't need another disappointment.

It's a bit ridiculous; just cancel the R-2 already and be done with it.

Tariffs should be the least of your concerns. What happens when the world economy starts to heat up, is that commodity prices such as Brass goes up. Also, in China their form of EPA enforcement has closed many small subcontractors in etching, casting and producing parts for Brass models. The companies left have raised their prices 30% or more. And there is the annual 20-30% increase in wages that is dictated by the government here. With those factors, there is only 1 direction for prices to go...

We are doing our best to keep these prices in check, but there will be increases over time.

If there are tariffs on any goods you plan to buy, you will be the bearer of these increases. Washing Machines, Cars, Consumer Electronics, all will carry higher retail prices to cover he Tariff.

But personally, I think the trade war rhetoric will calm down, and market forces will return as the major player in the cost of our consumer products.

Enjoy your hobby.
