New elevated line with reversing loops

A fun layout with nice use of space.  I have two mainlines with reversing loops at each end.  It is a nice way to set up a loop in a tight place.

Very nice. How high is the top level, from top of bottom ply to top of top ply? Thx!

Used 3/8" plywood 10" high above layout. Then reinforced with 5/8" x 2" pine pieces cut 22.5 deg in the curves. The long straight is made with plywood then reinforced with steel building studs from Home Depot. I used 3 pcs 2.5" wide ... it made the whole section very stiff and light weight. 

I actually did the two reserving loops but decided to go with double track down the straight instead of switches. It gives me the opportunity to run two trains together that cross in the middle ... nice effect. My layout is about 18ft long and the elevated section about 16ft long.

could you give more detail on the trestles and what material you used to make them?

I also included one that shows the straight section which you can see a little more from underneath where I used the steel building studs. I painted the one facing the outside.
