hello

just received a my mth NYC proto 3.0 sd 70ACe. I tried adding the engine to my dcs but it keeps reading engine already remote. The remote then defaults to a CSX Ac4400 proto 3 that I have running on another track. When I power up the csx both engines fire up and they seem to be operating as one. Any help would be appreciated.

It was already programmed into another remote and got its internal engine number assigned.... take the CSX off of the track, fire up the NYC using the CSX id in your remote.... Do a factory reset on the engine and that will set it back to the factory setting, and delete the CSX from the remote. Take it off of the track, and put the CSX on, then add the CSX.... it will likely go back to the same engine number in the remote... then take it off and add the NYC...

BTW - I always add an engine with no other engines on a powered track to prevent "confusion"
