Hopefully MTH will re do their C30-7 and also do a U36C. B23-7, B30-7 and B36-7 also.
heck yeah, a b36-7 in conrail ,some c30-7 c36-7"s in conrail would be awsome, also some csx b 30-7 "s, burlington northern b30-7s and b units, mark me down if they ever come out for about 8 units or more
I'll take the Super 7
Well, I'd spring right now for a CR or NS C39-8 - the low-cab, hulking, sexy beast
that it is. Saw a brass one on auction last year, but it was something like $1200 to
start and was 2-rail. Had it been "cheap"...
I too would be interested in a B23-7 & a c39-8!
A problem with many of these ge's before the dash 9's is there are not too many rr's that had them. to top it off, not many survived in the secondary market!
how about some 6 axle units c 30-7's .it soul be great if mth could do some scale premier units
Don't forget in 1992, MTH did do the premier C30-7's. While not up to today's detailed standards, they were scale[except for the fuel tank] and can be superdetailed and refitted with new electronics!
Atlas has released several different types of Dash 7 four motor units in HO and N scales. Perhaps these models will be introduced into the O scale line at some point.

Wow, what a great site:

Like the pages about the SD80Mac!
only after a BQ23-7 is made
I'll take mine painted in the Milwaukee Racine & Troy
Yeah, I'd be in for several Conrail B23-7s and/or B36-7s too!
Yea I'd be interested in a pair of B30-7's in Chessie paint. The only GE unit's purchased new by the Chessie System. They would definitely fill a hole in my roster. Would like to have at least a pair of every unit they had in service!

According to Wikipedia- 7 major roads had the B36-7...
Conrail
BC rail
Seaboard System- CSX [all retired in 2009]
ATSF- 2 in Kodachrome scheme!
Southern
Southern Pacific
Cotton Belt [SSW]
SLSF- Frisco
Rocky Mountaineer
NOw I wonder if UP had B36-7's as well as BNSF?
only after a BQ23-7 is made
I'll take mine painted in the Milwaukee Racine & Troy
That would be too cool!! They're so homely they're cute!!
I want a Maine Central U18B. I realize that it would have limited appeal, but that doesn't stop me from liking it. I still think I ought to use an MPC U36 and repaint it, it would be close enough, for now.
InterMountain recently released a plastic U18B in HO and, despite a dimensional discrepancy in the cab windows, the model has sold well so there appears to be demand for this model. Perhaps there's hope for an O gauge version from one of the manufacturers.

If I was going to get the GE DASH 7 it would be a pair of Chessie System or a pair of Burlington Northern units with a matching BN-Detroit Edison unit coal train.
Andrew
Here is a good looking BNSF B23-7.
Looks like none of the B36-7s have survived.
And here is a pumpkin.
