GG-1 ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE:

Originally designed and produced by K-Line Electric Trains of Chapel Hill, NC in 1988, the GG-1 was a true classic locomotive. In 2013, RMT® had re-introduced the GG-1 locomotive. However, any previous K-line or K-line by Lionel production of specific roadnumber will not be repeated allowing each railroad series to continue.

In addition, 2 new paint schemes...AMTRAK "Savings Bonds' and PC-era American Railroads...will be offered in addition to 3 other PRR versions with and upgraded painting decoration.

Yep, bashable. Turn the GG-1 body into a gravy boat (they still have those?) and build something new on top. A couple of old F-3 shells, cab at both ends...oh, the GN did that very thing with real F-3 noses back in the day. A wrecked electric needed a new body, so...

Or, just give it a totally different paint job. I saw one painted in Northern Pacific - the nice

green/white/dark green scheme. (Also a Loewy design.)
