My dad gave me this New Haven S-2 Switcher for Christmas this year. This locomotive is fantastic!
It is a MTH Premier with Proto 3. Sounds awesome. Creeps nicely at 2 scale mph with a load behind it and the smoke works very well. I highly recommend this loco in any of the available road names!

Great little engine. I have the first issue and love it. If I did not buy the 44 tonner this was my next choice.
Boy I've been on the fence on this one. I have 2 NH RS1's and love the way they run. Especially the Proto 3 Alco sounds. The paint scheme on this one is a few years beyond my modeling era. After seeing the video. I may have to bump it up a few years.

What a great gift, nice loco! I love NH paint schemes. (As a way to control costs, I limit the roads I collect/run but often wish that list included the NH.) And what a great layout/train room!
