You're welcome! Got a K-line one on its way back to me with PS3 and that file it in. I can't wait!

You can use the ADPCM Sound File Utility to substitute the whistle from the EP5 into your sound files.

John, do you know anybody that does this, I went through the website and way to complex for me to understand.

Thanks John! I’ve got a friend in Chattanooga who is an MTH authorized tech. If this is a complicated process like Chuck notes, I’ll turn it over to the knowledgeable friend. God knows, I’ve learned the limits of my abilities! 😉

I've tinkered with the utility, it seems to do what they say.  I know a bunch of people that have posted here about changing stuff in the sound file and were pretty happy with the results.

Yes, the process is a bit convoluted, especially when you want to put some custom sounds that you create from some other source.

Dallee electronics had a kit for AC operators...kit #1072 I have one, don't know if it's still available...

Just went on Dallee site...it's available new kit #1520

We're talking Protosound 3 command control, the Dallee sound kits are for conventional transformer control.  Are you sure you're in the right thread?  In any case, Dallee doesn't seem to know what a #1072 is.
