Today I had the pleasure of pre - viewing the prototypes for a new line of box cars and bill boards being produced by Harrison Trains LLC.  The first car is a Fartzwell Baked Beans box car decorated with a most humorous logo.  The second car is a Doggie Do canine laxative box car again with a real humorous logo.  The third is a boxcar that carries a new brand of cat litter call "****tykitty"  Certainly these fun cars and bill boards will bring chuckles & giggles to everyone who views your layout.

As I understand it Harrison Train LLC will be at the upcoming York show in the Orange Hall.  They have a website, just google Harrison Trains LLC  ( the new cars are not yet up on the site )

Just passing on new info for anyone interested.

Happy Railroading

AMCDave,

Sorry but I was so busy laughing at the artwork on the sides of the boxcars that I forgot to even notice what brand of cars they are.  They are probably Weaver cars but you might want to ask the folks at Harrison Trains. I checked their website today and did not see the cars up on the site as of yet. I'm going to order one of each car when they come out.   I wish I had had my phone with me yesterday when I saw the cars, because I would have snapped photos and put them on the forum for everyone to see.

If you are going to York you can check them out at the Harrison Trains booth in the Orange Hall.  You will have a good chuckle :-)

All best and Happy Railroading

EnjoyHere's a photo of one of the cars and an advertising sign new from Harrison Trains.... Not for Prime Time Products.  :-)

And yes, Bob Kazian is correct these products may not be for everybody, however, for some folks with a certain sense of humor ( I'm one of them ) these products will certainly bring a chuckle.  I know lots of folks who visit me in Patsburg ( the fictitious town on my layout ) will have a great laugh upon viewing these products.  Heck I may even order an entire unit train of these boxcars :-) And yes to each his/her own.

Cheers,

Locohead,

If you have not seen the cars or sign, you can go to my post from Oct 1. on this same thread.   I posted a photo of one of the cars and a bill board too.  As far as WW - 08 in the Orange Hall, I think it is located on the same wall/isle as Mianne Benchwork but at the opposite end from Mianne down near the Classic Toy Trains booth.   I'm sure you will be able to find them when you arrive at the OH.  I think Harrison Trains is also doing Fusion Fiber ( scenic material ) demonstrations at their booth as well as debuting the new "funny cars" and billboards.... so you might look for a Fusion Fiber banner as well.

Cheers and happy railroading

Gentlemen:

Thank you for your discussion, here on the OGR Forum, about our new, humorous products for the O gauge train layout.

Due to a health issue last week which temporarily hospitalized me, I am VERY behind in production. I have only one sample boxcar and 6 billboards ready for York this coming Thursday. However, I will have a book of sample designs and will be taking orders at the show and offering free shipping to anyone who orders at my York booth.

Again, thank you all for your vigorous discussion. I hope to see you at York.

Sincerely,

Randy Harrison
