New interiors for old cars

I actually would like to go the other way, I wish they made sillouette strips to put in newer cars! I like the post war look of the sillouettes.

I've done it with a few 15" aluminum cars. Have lots more I'd like to do. For the ones I've done, I managed to pick up several beat up cars with finished interiors, and did a transplant. It's slow finding cheap alum. passenger cars with interiors on the cheap, though. It would be worthwhile for some company to produce replacement finished interiors for passenger cars, in my opinion.

if you have some silhouette strips just photo copy them cut to size and tape in your cars.  works pretty good.

I would love to put interiors in a set of 15 inch Kline heavyweights.  When I was at York 2 years ago I was talking to a company that was looking at doing interiors but I haven't seen anything out there.  They were selling the interior overhead LED lighting.  I guess I will be looking for some old beat up cars.  I find in O gauge if you want to do any detailing you have to be extra creative or lucky. 

K-Line made interior kits for their passenge cars that came with lighting strips. They can be cut down and used in the Madison type cars.

Very often E-bay sells old/new Walthers interior sets. Some even come with bathroom fixtures. It would be easy to make the walls and other things needed. This full kit is on E-bay now, it's a drawing room kit that is made for heavyweight cars. Don
