So we (LHS) got this new kit for stock the other day.  The department manager, knowing of our Trains Dept. interest in all-things-1/48 scale, brought it to my attention.

"Hmmmmm", sez I.  "Could have some potential in the O2R/O3R scenery realm."    You know...complement the recent offerings surrounding the mid-19th century railroads, or as a parade participant, or as an Oklahoma University Sooner Schooner....whatever.....

But, then, I flipped the box over and discovered the following kit-building suggestion!!....

I know....so what?

Hey!......they're apparently from my family's specie of trees!!!  My kind of thinking on what helps to build a FUN kit!!!

Less than $20, too.

Wellllll........?

Kit can't be built in dead silence?

Sure!....Simon & Garfunkle's Sound of Silence is a good choice.

Their suggestions were just that.

Personally, I like to build kits with Richard Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries playing at about 'Notch 8' on the workshop boombox.

Or the recent release of the troubadours () from Lionel's 'OK (Olson/Kunkle) Chorale', Old Railroad!
