New Kohs PRR N5b cabin cars

Koh's stuff is certainly museum quality, beautiful models.    However, they are too rich for my budget.     I would be afraid to put one that  on my operating layout if I could afford it.    It is nice that such models are made however.

I assume that these new caboose models are NOT the ones that George "rejected" some years ago?

NO !  Those cars ended up in various other hands and the project went onto a new builder . Some of the mistakes made on the reject cars were small and other large such as MOW yellow cars with white lettering instead of black . Assembly quality was fairly dreadful as well . I laid eyes on a number of these cars and they were priced a little over half of the ''real'' Kohs cars - they weren't worth it .

Great, and thanks for the information. I saw some of those "rejected" models at last year's March Meet, and did think that they were a bit too expensive. I wonder if any of the new models will be for sale at this year's March Meet (on April 2&3)?
