New Legacy Legacy CAB-1L system- what's the latest?

What's the latest news on the "Legacy Lite" CAB-1L remote, base, and 180-watt Legacy PowerMaster system?

I have three locomotives, one Legacy and two TMCC operating basically on a two-loop 6' x 16' layout powered by a Z-4000 and TMCC. Will the new CAB-1L system plus two 180-watt Legacy PowerMasters do the trick for me? Being retired, I hesitate to spend so much money on the full Legacy and TPC400s. I like the TMCC and want to keep things simple!

You will get very few of the Legacy features, (quilling whistle) If you are at all going to be buying more Legacy engines buy the full system, You can find them under 300 at the big dealers.

The products you mention are in the manufacturing queue. Hopefully available in the market by mid-year. The features are limited on the cab1-L , but the cost will lower and you can expand to a full Legacy setup and still use the cab1-L in the future.

So, this unit will cover all the pre-Legacy TMCC functions (including configuring ElectricRR boards as described here)?

I'm sure you can configure ERR boards with the CAB-1L, I can't imagine that being an issue.
