Picked up my Command Tie-Jector car last night. Here's are a few pics and a link to a quick video on it.
I'm liking it.

I have the MOW units and I like mine. Very well done.
They're cool and garner some attention when you run. I did one a few years back, here's the thread.
I forgot to get a patent, so Lionel stole my idea. However, I did add a directional lighting and a strobe.
Sean,
Look like my layout will be getting another new addition soon, what road names do they come in?

What is the Lionel stock# for both cars? Will it work with TMCC?
Grampstrains posted:John: Do you have any idea if an old Tie-Jector body would fit on the new chassis?
I haven't seen the new one up close, so I don't know how close it is to the older model. Actually, mine is the "new" old model as there was the original post-war model with the AC motor.

There's a bunch of road names, thus a bunch of stock numbers. Yes, it's really a TMCC piece, and it runs fine with TMCC. Here's five of them in a search on the Lionel site: http://www.lionel.com/search?query=Tie-jector
Thanks for the video. Big changes from the originals, not only does it now work by command instead of the out rider switches and paddels, it now goes backwards. The added light a plus. I have the original and was thinking of using it on a lay-out if I was to build one now as a three phase operation. This all on fast track 1st Tie Ejector, 2ND Lionel track work gang, 3rd Balest Tamper. The only hang up would have to have five finger pickup, reposition Tie Ejector and Balest Tamper
Fill the bunker behind the cab with ties to make it look like more ties the lay.
