NEW LIONEL CSX ES44 having problems | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

My new Lionel ES44 just got delivered. I'm so happy.....NOT. When i press the engineer's button on the Legacy remote, the engine cuts out and i hear clicking coming from the speaker and then the engine comes back to life. I can return it to Trainworld but just wanted to see if i could do something first. Thank you

I've never done a Lionel legacy re-set...how do i complete that?

Have you read the Owner's Manual that presumably came with the 'new' engine. It should be described in there.

Alternatively do a Search on this Forum. Just type in 'Lionel Factory Reset' as this topic has been discussed numerous times.
