Has anyone purchased the new vista dome or baggage cars? I was wondering if the new cars match the original set as far as the green color and other markings.

I did not order the car, that Erie sets is one of the few that I do not have. I can say, when Lionel screws up something with Flyer paint (few and far between 
) there is normally a few posts grieving the issue on here. Nothing has been posted and the cars have been out a while so you are probably all good.

I recently purchased one of the full baggage cars, but I don't have the whole set. I was thinking of using it for a repaint job I have in mind. If its paint is satisfactory (and Lionel usually is pretty good at matching paint) I'd be willing to trade it for ANY other full baggage. I have never taken it from the box. Keep it in mind. I'm in no hurry since Summer yard projects will keep me busy for a while.

Finally cooled off in Michigan
I have both the Erie and SP original sets and purchased the add on cars. They match the older equipment perfectly. Nice additions to the traditional Flyer passenger cars.
