Is your Flyer still around? Are there other trains now, or since, or yet? Pictures please!...oh, Hi! Welcome! Watch yourself! I started early, and I still act 8 sometimes.

Welcome, Youngblood! Whether you're a man of many or few words, this is a place where you can pick up some great advice and inspiration. Like any forum, you are free to express yourself, so don't let yourself be boxed in by others' expectations. Many of us are great people and some of us need to be de-crusted, lol... Are you in Pennsylvania? Where did your love of the Pennsy come from? Tag, you're it.

Welcome, Pennsy 713.  (By the way, what's the significance of that number?  Was it a favorite engine on the Pennsy?)  You'll get lots of info here and probably will meet some really nice guys.  Remember, that if you have questions, please ask them right here.  The only "dumb question" is the one that doesn't' get asked.

I still have an identical set, unfortunately all that's left of the original when I was 8 is the tender and caboose which I use with the one I have. I have many other trains my favorite right now being a 2065 Lionel Hudson, with my bantam Railking Blue Comet set in a close second.

I actually do live in Pennsylvania, just north of Pittsburgh. I have multiple reasons to love the PRR. My first set was a Pennsylvania Railroad set, and growing up I used to read a lot about railroads. I really like the look of The Pennsylvania Railroad's locomotives, especially the K4. I think it might've been the Belpaire firebox. Also I really liked the streamlining on the T1s, that one K4, and the GG1.

Hey, I live north of Pittsburgh, although sounds like farther out than you.  Butler, to be precise.  The K4 is a really nice engine.  The T1s are interesting too.  I plan to be at Greenberg in Monroeville on Saturday.  Maybe I'll run into you.
