I'm impressed with the MTH 0-6-0's that have just been released. Although they are classified as RailKing I find them to be nearly scale sized and packed with detail for such a small piece. Chains on the tender trucks, great paint and very nice cab figures jumped out at me on these. MTH made a bunch of these including special runs, I'm sure there is one that might fit in on your layout!

You're right. The recent MTH Railking Imperial USRA 0-6-0 switchers are very nice. Here's my Raritan River Railroad #20 version - a custom run by Forum Sponsor Public Delivery Track.

Very nice Mel.
I'm currently waiting for the delivery of METCA's version of the Baldwin Locomotive Works custom run. These videos sure fired me up a bit anticipating mine! Thanks for posting.
Yes I have the C&O version about a month. However it looses connection and won't take commands when another locomotive is on the same track. I have DCS.
Mel. BMRS just picked up a great donation. Two of the many items were 0-6-0. The early MTH and the early k-line. Both with sloped tenders.
What is amazing is original owner was an arm chair collector. Every single engine or car has NEVER been opened!

I didn't even know this was a run that was made!
If they have any more of these, I'll certainly get one. As a New Jersian for over 30 years, this is a must-have in my book.

Contact Forum Sponsor Public Delivery Track. They were on pre-order for a year...

I used to own a PS 3.0 PRR version and loved it. I have been patiently awaiting a new run on 0-8-0 switchers. Again, hopefully in PRR livery.
I have four of the new 0-6-0s and am very satisfied with them. I am a Big fan of Small steam (and small diesels, too, for that matter). Got two U.S. Army 0-6-0s and two special-run Christmas versions from Trainworld. Now patiently waiting for Lionel's long-overdue 0-4-0 switchers in Army livery. Patience is a definite virtue in the hobby these days.
Pat’s Trains is offering a custom run for Santa Fe in Blackbonnet scheme. Definite eye candy!
