5 out of 7 new locomotives in the past year have horns that look like a 6-year-old fabricated them. (apologies to 1st grade art class). I'm not talking so much about the means of attachment to the roof. I'm referring specifically to how they are splayed apart from one another and bent. Looking here  to save me from myself here before I snap something. Are these horns plastic, or some kind of metal that can be manipulated?  I have yet to take a chance trying to straighten any of them, but would like it if they were able to be straighten without snapping off. (I'd really like if this didn't need to be a topic at all...hint hint)

Or do I just leave well enough alone and call it a day?

Thoughts??
