Thank you, sir. You are a scholar and a gentleman.

Was able to download the PDF this morning. Go to the "Catalogs" link on the left and it appears at the bottom.
Not much in there that catches my interest except for a [very] local GenSet (PHL) If we don't run a couple of those down at the club, they'll run us out of town.
Thankfully (for my wallet) the only thing of interest to me is the orange RK DT&I hopper. The only orange hoppers on the DT&I were 40' cars designated for sand use, but it looks nice.

I can't see the O gauge catalog. For me, both links show the Lionel Electric Trains catalog... Any help?

It’s a problem with Microsoft IE9! I’ve tried, successfully, with Google Chrome. Thanks Chris.
Underwhelming to say the least.
So Matt, Are you suggesting you will be purchasing two gensets? UP ran three together downtown at the river.
I am getting away very cheap on this catalog, one Genset and a six pack of Sunoco tanks. may get a 3 pack of the railking ones also. Nothing else floats the boat.
John
There is, of course, an Alaska Genset in my future. Perhaps even a pair of them. Probably an Alaska GEEP as well.
O Gauge link works well for me here at home on my iMac w/Safari. Did not open all the way through on my PC at the office w/Firefox.
That Alaska Genset looks awesome. Very nice paintjob.
Didnt someone mention freight cars with DCS features? I am not seeing anything.

Lucas,
There are PREMIER 2-bay CenterFlow Hoppers in the Grand Trunk Western scheme with the number series for former Detroit & Toledo ShoreLine cars.
I plan on getting the GTW ACF 2-bay pair to go with the Premier D&TS ACF CenterFlow 2-bay hoppers released several years ago.
Andrew
Looking up items in the Product Locator is much easier.
They finally have the CN Meat Reefer that was part of the same series as the CN Rainbow Spectrum Pigments 100-Ton 4-Bay Cylindrical Hopper in both Premier and RailKing.
Andrew
I see that the N & W SD45 and GP30 are low noses which they didn't have! Thanks for paying attention to minor details!
paperboys:
N&W rostered some former NKP GP30s. They were low nose units.
For example:

Bob
All over the Wabash FM Trainmaster. Hopefully, 2 roadnames!
Finally I can get my Santa Fe overtons.
N&W rostered some former NKP GP30s. They were low nose units.
Yes, I know that. They came to the party late! The biggest part of the GP30 fleet had high noses, which is what I remember seeing, which I would be interested in. Now, what about the 45's? No low noses came from the hinderlands, did they?

Already E-mailed Sean that I want a pair in PHL with scale wheels and fixed pilots. We kinda have to run them at the club since PHL does the local rail service for the Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach.
Now all we need is a chop-nosed GP9 or two for Harbor Belt Line. Will probably have to put that one together myself.
Nope. There were no low nose SD45s on the N&W roster. I took a look at the MTH catalog illustration of the NS SD45. It's decorated with the road number of 1700 so it appears MTH is using the former EL/CR SD45-2s which are currently assigned by NS to the Conrail Shared Assets territory in New Jersey as the basis for the model. I see these units along the Chemical Coast Line quite frequently and they are substantially different from the standard SD45. As a footnote, several ex-EL/Conrail SDP45s were employed by NS for a spell beginning in 1984 as well.
I expect to see the Premier version of the high nose SD45 painted in N&W and NS liveries at some point in the future.
Bob
N & W SD45's were 1700-1814. EL were SDP45's 6667-6684
I remember the N&W SD45s well. I have a few of the Athearn high nose units in HO. One of them is the Bicentennial 1776.
Here are the former EL Dash 2 units which now wear the 1700 series numbers:
(1700) http://www.rrpicturearchives.n...ture.aspx?id=1507529
(1701) http://www.rrpicturearchives.n...ture.aspx?id=1715434
(1702) http://www.rrpicturearchives.n...ture.aspx?id=2122852
(1703) http://www.rrpicturearchives.n...ture.aspx?id=1758797
(1704) http://www.rrpicturearchives.n...ture.aspx?id=1677525
(1705) http://www.rrpicturearchives.n...ture.aspx?id=2241573
They are impressive beasts for sure!
Here is one of the precious few ex-N&W SD45s which received NS livery:

I like the fact that MTH makes the online catalog with clickable hyperlinks that take me to the online product page to give expected delivery dates and allow you to assemble a 2012 shopping list to favorites.
Nice pics of the current low nose units! I remember standing by the tracks near the real SD45's, feeling the ground shake! Also have the 1776 plate, but I would really like to have an O N & W SD45 in 1700 series with the CORRECT nose and vent!
There is the Montana Rail Link PS-2 2-Bay Covered Hopper for MU EAGLE.
Andrew
I'm going to have to make room for the Iowa Interstate and Cleveland Union Terminal GP9's.
How many noticed the Premier FM Train Masters ALL have low platforms in the
picture!!! Only the Wabash TM should have such an arrangement. They
better get this detail ironed out quick, or they'll be eating a LOT of FM down
in Columbia!!!!!
I'll way in on the catalog. Because I am from Northeastern Ohio and grew up 10 miles outside of Cleveland, I believe the Cleveland Terminal will sell out immediately! You can pretty much say the same for the Wheeling & Lake Erie SD40, Ohio Central RS3 as well. Local dealers have a hard time keeping anything local on the shelves for long. A real hard time! Now if only MTH would Come out with more ACY, that this area has been asking for. HMMM.....
Chris
I really like the Premier Nickel Plate GP-9. I'm not sure I can fit it into my budget though.
I do think their choice of road number #482 is quite interesting though. As the real #482 was destroyed in a deadly accident along with a couple other Geeps just 4 months after it was delivered. They had a second #482 that took it's place, but still, an interesting road number choice.
FiremanChris - I'd love some ACY stuff. Been asking for a Rail King boxcar for several years.
BTW - SIRT's weathering on the MTH ACY boxcar (from the merger set produced several years back) in the weekend photo fun thread is worth looking at if you haven't seen it already. He does amazing work!
The heritage units are a must have for us NS fans. Now how many should I buy, hmmmm!!!!!
There is an uncataloged ACY PS-2 2-Bay Covered Hopper that I hope your dealers ordered from MTH a few months ago.
There is not a lot of ACY rolling stock variation when compared to other railroads. It is surprising that there has not been Premier and RailKing train sets made that are all Akron. Canton & Youngstown.
Andrew
Scott (NKP4me), Sirt does fantastic work! I have that MTH ACY 50ft.r I know at least in this area ACY is a hot item! Everyone is waiting for MTH put out more motive power. RS-1 are the only ones!
Andrew, the ACY P-2 are on order! Rumor more to come.
Chris
Chris - I sure hope there is more ACY on the way. I'm originally from Canton, so the ACY is right up my alley along with the NKP & WLE.
Thanks Scott!
I picked up the ACY car from those amazing rare MTH prototypes on the bay.
It was a car I could spot miles away while crossing NY harbor by ferry in the 1960’s.
Only Weaver made one ACY 40’ box car. I never knew MTH made one although it is incorrect as usual. ACY had mostly combination door cars which no one wants to make in O for some reason.
You could always pick out an ACY car on a car float crossing the harbor.
It was one of the last fallen flag roads I needed to complete the O collection.

Nothing in this one for me
NS 1700 -
anyone else notice on the last page, where it list the 19 heritage units, it list Penn Central twice...
maybe they dont want anyone to forget about them...
