If the Cab numbers on the A units are 9620 and 9623, it's #20-2332-1.

What is this worth in used but good condition?
Jeff,
It is only worth what the next buyer is willing to pay .
let's see some pictures and tell us if you tested the unit on tracks.
Hey! you're coming right along, the road is in... I like the engines.
For what it's worth, my opinion would be that it's worth somewhere between $325.- $475., depending on overall condition and what the DCS odometer and chronometer indicate.
What all this info mean is this high or low fora 2001 not sure about this lionel doesn't have this stuff.
Looks to be lightly used. Two of my engines from 2001 are well north of 1,000 on the odometer.

Yes it looks in great shape so since he gave this to me even better
Yeah, looks right for its age. Low end, worth about $325., as some buyers would be uptight about the missing packaging, while others would view this as a well used engine. But it's a desirable road name, not seen for sale all the time, so for the right buyer who's looking for it and perhaps only throws away the packing materials, then on the right day, for the right buyer, you could get $475., and perhaps more if the buyer "has to have it". Nice engine. Enjoy!
