I love this new paint scheme. It retains the original character of the previous paint scheme but breathes new life into it. Well done Amtrak and Siemens.
I think now there is definitely reason to spend money on tooling for Chargers. A Legacy or PS3 version definitely has my preorder.

I hope that one of the big 3 sees the potential in offering one of these. Sure, they kind of look like mealworms, but the paint schemes are all awesome. 6 different paint schemes to choose from-IDTX (AMTK Midwest), CDTX (AMTK California), AMTK/CDTX Pacific Surfliner, WASDOT (Cascades), MARC, and Brightline (though it has a different nose).
Sign me up. These locos also offer up a cool lighting feature. Towards the rear of the loco where you see the screen with the giant ‘X’ there is an interior light that shines through the screen. It looks super cool at night time when I’ve seen the Midwest version flying past.
