I started a new project constructing a propane distribution facility. The base measures 21 inches wide and 18 inches deep. The rail siding is on the right side. There will be sliding gates at each end of the track. An office building with filling building will be in the front left corner.

Great work Alan. What material is the base? Will the roof over the loading dock remain a cantilever or will there be some support on the ends of the trusses?
I like it.

the base luan plywood 1/4 inch thick.
I will have end support columns under the end of the trusses.
I will install the after I paint the buildingandtheconcrete.
Local ones seem to be "littered" with lots of portable little white tanks... but...those tanks look like the main ones....
Awesome! I live close to a propane distribution company and your looks very close to a dead ringer to the facility.
Keep up the good work.
It needs Hank Hill.

Wow those tanks looks great!!
Please tell us about the materials you used. Did this project involve any kit bashing? If so, which kits made by whom? If no kits were harmed in the building of this propane distributor, what did you use and where did you get it?
Thanks in advance.
Excellent!
But, don't all AmeriGas distributors have a "bone yard" of used, rusting tanks out back? I've always wanted to model one of those.
Excellent.
Tom
Details are great! Can't wait to see the completed version! Looks super. Terry

Alan, I love your work.
Thank you all very much for your compliments. Thank you Jim Sutter for being one of the first people to purchase my models at the York show all the way back in 1983.
Looks great Alan. The building and additional piping really added to it! Recipient should be thrilled! Terry
Looks fantastic! Do the rail gates slide open or do they rotate? What is the material for the chain link?
Greg,
The rail gates slide.
I make fences using fiberglass screen that I cut at a 45 degree angle. The posts are plastruct 1/16 inch wire coated plastic pipe. The barbed wire is sowing string painted silver. I use crazy glue to put everything together.
Another fabulous AG creation.
Great Alan, as always amazing work
