Help.
Is anybody else having problems with low smoke output from the new Railking PS3 4-4-0 19th Century Steamers? I recently purchased one. Smoke unit was wimpy at best. Nothing like the volumes of smoke expected from MTH engines of all kinds. So, I sent the engine back and seller sent me a new one. Same issue. Wimpy smoke.
I know it's not my DCS system as the engine has the same symptoms on another layout and I have other MTH engines that smoke like crazy on both layouts. I know it's not the amount of smoke fluid as I have carefully started with just a little fluid and then gradually added fluid and made sure there are no bubbles while filling -- any of my engines for that matter. Been down this road for years.
Yeah, I know I can send it in. But, am curious if it's just my bad luck or if MTH has a design or Mfg problem with these engines. Thanks.
