Let the speculation begin on what the new improvements will be.

Dave mentioned this in his last demo video. They are improving the manuals and tutorials section and parts ordering.
Boy, having more service documentation for later models would be a nice addition.
One thing I wish Lionel would do if possible is consolidate their YouTube channels. I think there are at least 3 now. Lionel Trains, Lionel Engineering, and LionelCS2011.
That being said, I look forward to additional documentations as well. They've actual been doing a decent job on adding the manuals but as John said some service docs would be welcomed.
MTH has a nice chart for determining what size traction tire to use for engines . This works well because all you have to do is find the engine type on the chart to identify the traction tire part number. Does Lionel have a similar chart?
When I called for a RA last Monday Aaron said they had just launched a new system for warranty repairs, this may be part of the new system. Fingers crossed for more part breakdowns. As usual with any new system I’ll expect some bugs for a little

I don't know of any chart but the MTH one and their tires are pretty good.
I'll be near the head of the line to find the owners manual for a RI&P chrome-plated steamer I recently purchased on the secondary market, but there its owners manual wasn't included.
IMHO, Lionel has earned a THUMBS UP for posting owners manual on their website. It's an easy download of helpful info.

Fingers crossed.
Parts list for engine from the last three years online would be real nice.
They need to get that guy thats revamping MTH's parts site.
It took a year for the authorized service station to get a board for my SD 70 Ace. The service guy at the hobby shop said he couldn't get the smoke unit that was burned out too. I called Lionel last week and talked to a very nice woman. She said she can send me the smoke unit. I talked to her about my frustration of not being able to get certain parts. My impression was that Lionel is going to change their policy and sell parts that they have refused to sell in the past. Has anyone else heard anything about Lionel opening sale of more of their parts?

Harry,
Although it may appear to be the case, I don't think anyone's refusing to sell anything.
I think that it's much simpler: Too often the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
Hopefully fixing this is going to be part of the "upgrade", if we're lucky.
