Just finished this one so I did a couple of video run by shots to test my camera. I've given up trying to use my cell phone for videos.  The train is a B&M 38 followed by a B&M 114 boxcar, a 35 passenger car and a 36 Observation.  I'm looking for decals for the passenger cars I'd like the car types in the scrolls so maybe I'll have to buy some of the repro decals off eBay.

By the way I'll never win any awards for cinematography so I've also include still photos.

Questions:  Are the passenger cars 35 & 36 and if so how hard was the stripping on the inside of the car. Doing two 35 and one 36 and started stripping the 36 car, inside is a pain getting in all the corners. Is the inside of the car the same color as the outside or is that just a primer paint?

Ron

To strip most prewar items I just spray them liberally with Easy Off oven cleaner and let them sit for a few hours. After sitting I spray them with 409, give them a quick scrub with an old tooth brush and the paint just washes off with hot water. Most of the year this works well but I do my stripping and washing in a laundry sink in my garage and right now it's about 35 degree there so the easy off doesn't work as good as usual.  To make matter worse my wife won't let me use the kitchen sink after I just bought her a new stainless steel one and quartz counter tops. Any small areas of paint that refuse to come off I usually just hit with a brass wheel on my Dremel.

On the insides I usually just spray the areas that will show the color of the outside.
