Our (LHS) Games Department has begun to carry this line of products...
While their product line is targeted for gamers, there's some interesting items among the buildings and accessories (carts, wagons, etc.) that could be applicable to our layouts.
Yes, the product line...various eras all the way up to WWII...has a decidedly continental flair/style, but they might fit in with a bit of modification and 'bashing'. The thatched roof material (fabric) in their structure laser kits is especially well done.
For those not familiar with gaming scales... 28mm is the height of the gaming figures/pieces. It works out to a scale of about 1:56. That's somewhere between S and O scale, of course. If these items are used in a forced perspective for either S or O layouts, they might work well.
LHS's that carry Game items can get it through one of their distributors...or you can order direct. To give you a feel for their prices, the package I'm holding as I write this is item 28-DAR-104, a 28mm structure called Anglo Dane Hovel. It retails at our store for $16.95. As laser kit prices go, that's a bargain!!!! The laserwork is REALLY well done, too!
I would imagine some of our continental forumites are already aware of this product line.
