The latest from the B&O Museum, a Chessie bay window caboose restored for the City of Bowie, MD for display in their town.
From the B&O Museum website, a special "exhibit" will be available for the next few weeks....
....."To mark the completion of the restoration of caboose #3842 for the City of Bowie, MD, the B&O Railroad Museum will have on display together the #3842 Class C-26A caboose and Chessie #3802 diesel electric locomotive GP-38 from July 23rd to August 9th. Both of these pieces painted in Chessie colors, will be parked outside the historic North Car Shop where visitors can take a close look or photo opportunity of these two pieces of railroad equipment."
