Sadly, the traffic in and out of Las Vegas on weekends has turned horrendous. It took me about six hours to get from Vegas to San Bernardino because of the traffic. Admittedly, that was on a Sunday afternoon, but I can remember when it only took 4 1/2 hours from Vegas to Los Angeles. As bad as it sounds, an hour to Fullerton and five hours on the train might be a bonus on busy weekends.

That said, I agree with HW. The run through Cajon sees so much train traffic, I can't see how they'll be able to squeeze in a Vegas commuter special. I've heard that the Cajon traffic was an issue when they were talking about running Metrolink up to Victorville.

I'll believe it when/if I see it.

I-15 from Vegas to LA makes no money, it's all taxpayer funded. So lets scrap that as well

Maybe it should be a toll road, say $25.00
