Hey guys. Here is my new video for this week. Lionel Conrail "head end" power hauling a bunch of Lionel 86' "Hi - Cubes", (2) MTH "Cubes" and a Conrail "mill Gon".

Enjoy the video and have a great weekend.

Glad your kinematic couplers are holding up.  Mine have a tendency to pop open as I add more cars to the train.  I started off try to rig them shut but gave up and just stuck a pusher SD70MAC towards the end.  Those 86' Hi-Cubes are cool!

BTW, has anyone tried to convert their Hi-Cubes to Kadees?

Hey WP fan…yes, I have one or two cars that do not want to play together. My fix is using very small black zip ties and permanently hold the knuckle closed. Almost impossible to see. For me, that is a perfect solution as I do not switch out cars on trains and never used the operating couplers. When I want to change out trains, I either park the whole thing on my staging tracks or take off the cars and store them in their plastic container. I think I have 16 cars in the video and the two powered head end units handle them just fine.

Unfortunately, I never tried a Kadee conversion.

As always - Awesome!  My fav is the graffiti car.

Thanks for you patronage. I agree, I like the graffiti. I have the Conrail graffiti car sitting by my desk right now. Just arrived from Charles Ro.

Interesting tidbit about the UP graffiti car. Apparantely, UP does not like to have their product displayed with artwork. They either forced Lionel to stop selling this car or something like that. Case in point, the UP Genset locomotive “heavily” covered in graffiti was cancelled I am sure because of this issue. I had one ordered.

Take care and stay tuned. I hope to have my Husky Stack video ready for next week.
