Just been to the Bachmann website under ask the Bachmann, general discussion; York discussion, it is a video of the new items by Bachmann, it lists most new releases beside O gauge.

A new O gauge RS-3 diesel engine with digital sound system, expected December release date.

New cars for EZ Streets, a total of four, but only two for near future release date, police car & a taxi.

New track for O gauge trains with roadbed, looks like Lionel's Fastrac, ten inch straights and 36 inch curves, don't remember the release date if given.

Thanks!  As many people would expect, I am very excited about the new EZ-Street sedans (taxi and police car shown, green and maroon sedans).

First, they look great - they are a new type not offered by anyone before, and 1950s (matchs my layout's time period).  I zoomed in on the brief view of the underside of the "new chassis" - hard to tell but it looks to be a modification of the old 'Streets chassis with the better vertical spring center used only very early in the street's line by K-line.  They look very, very "bash-able," too.

I'll take a dozen, probably, when they come out.

Second, Bachman is clearly investing in EZ-Street.  Fantastic!!!!!

Ditto what Lee said.  Really looking forward to the 50's style cars.  It's loooong overdue.  Thanks for posting the video.

Current production Bachmann models can be purchased at a substantial discount. In fact, I've consistently bought new Bachmann items in other scales at 50-60% of list pricing.

Jim,  there is a volume control at the front of the loco.  You will have to turn the truck one way or the other, as it tends to be hidden.  Its silver, and takes a small flat screwdriver.

Mine came at about half volume.  I turned it up full, and have gradually eased it back to where I like it.  Ken

Turn clockwise for louder, counter-clockwise for softer.

Have you tried online vendors like Train World or Western Depot? Sometimes you can catch a really good sale on Williams stuff.

As for H.O., I really don't care for it that well as you need almost the same layout size as O gauge,  027 curves are smaller then H.O. 15 inch radius curves, and that is basically why I am not that impressed with H.O. I have some H.O. equipment and track, so I can honestly say what I posted. To each his own.

Phillyreading,

I just received a recent order from Charles Ro for two E-Z Street Ys at $14.99, several vans at $29.99, and a Lionel Trolley Barn. The barn was marked $59.99 but the price dropped. I had previously received an email from ROs that the price for the Trolley barn was now $29.99 after I had ordered it.  They charged me the new lower price, adjusted tax and shipping too.  I was pleased at their honesty.

I just got an order in yesterday from Western Depot. Two Williams by Bachmann locomotives, an NW-2 Switcher and a 44 Ton Center Cab Switcher. Both are Pennsylvania Railroad locos. I opened them up and put them on the track, and to no surprise, both worked perfectly! I now have 8 Williams locomotives and am awaiting the arrival of my Williams Pennsylvania RS-3 diesel.
