I've got no photos, but I have a bunch of NYC steam locos.

More than I care to list, as it spooks me.

I also enjoy NYC steam power:

1) Two Niagara models, one Sunset/3rd Rail and one MTH.

2) Three Mohawk models, one Sunset/3rd Rail, one Lionel, and one MTH (Super Mohawk)

3) Three or four streamlined Hudsons (ESE and various Dreyfus versions)

4) Three Hudsons, one Sunset/3rd Rail Super Hudson, one MTH, and one Lionel.

After I bought the MTH RK N&W J 611 I bought a MYH RK Drefuss. So I then needed a standard NYC Hudson and it was followed by a Empire State Hudson. I'd like a Mercury too but was it ever made in Traditional or RK size???

Have a MTH Dreyfus and two MTH Empire State Express Hudson's, of all my engines these get the most run time.

A purist would scoff that this is not really NYC, but the tender says so. 

That is Lionel 8600, the first 4-6-4 made under the MPC regime.

I have been wondering for several years as to why Lionel for their Lionmaster line or MTH in their Railking line have not produced a New York Central Niagara steam engine. Would any of you folks like or love to have the Niagara 4-8-4 produced? Please answer below.

Don't yet have the locomotive but we do have this swell Lionel poster from the early 1990s when they brought out the brass Kohl's 2 rail 'Smithsonian' Dreyfuss.

Next is a PS3 MTH Mohawk (in HO)

On the actual roster is  this repainted 2056 with a real Hudson cab number and  our K-Line 5344 w/PS2 by JDS Ltd

Being tinplate standard gauge it might be a little off topic but it is still New York Central prototype based... And hopefully entertaining.

This one is still my favorite NYC Hudson:

I cannot decide which to favor-PRR or NYC, so I indulge in both. My favorite NYC engine is the MTH New York Central 2-8-4 A-2 Steam Engine (with Proto 2.0 20-3128-1). Since I live in the northeastern Ohio area, I also have a few Erie engines. The A-2 justifies itself since it carries both the NYC and the P&LE designation.

NYC Is Great !

There are a whole lot of New York Central steam fans!  I have a number of NYC steam locomotives including the MTH Niagara (Wish they would have made it with the single lensed headlight), MTH and Lionel L3 Mohawks, MTH L4 Mohawks, MTH and Williams Hudson, and Lionel Dreyfus Hudson.  I have only made a You Tube video of one of these locomotives and it is my most popular You Tube video ever.  I bought the MTH Premier Hudson a number of years ago and only ran it for the first time recently after changing out the battery.  It runs just fine.  I am getting ready to make some more videos of it pulling the Commodore Vanderbilt and will add the Niagaras and Mohawks into the action.

This is also an excellent illustration of the glossy sheen on the Lionel Vision Hudson that some people complained about. Being it was never intended to be a scale model and more of a remake of a classic, I actually liked the sheen.

I have 1 NYC steam engine. It is the Lionel #6-18009. Even though it is an older model and does not have the latest electronic controls and sound it looks good when connected in front of my MTH Premier Madison passenger cars. The remainder of my NYC collection are diesels (GPs, F-3s and Sharks).
