I wasn’t quite sure where to post this question, but it seems to fit here.

Some 40 years ago, there was a small hobby shop located in Hamburg, NY. It was mainly a train shop that also sold wood stoves.

The owner of the shop, started a line of tinplate buildings. They were photo etched from sheet steel and brass, then folded and assembled into some pretty impressive structures. They produced signal towers, light towers, bridges and a few miscellaneous small buildings. They also were wired with working lights.

The line of building was called “New York Trains”. The line was produced for maybe a decade and seemed to sell well. The customer base was mostly located in the Western New York and the Buffalo area.

I was wondering if anyone else had heard of this short lived line of structures…
