Very nice purchase.Hope you enjoy it when she comes out.
Wow, that's a beautiful loco! I never see Weaver product at the stores I frequent. How do you know what they make? How do you get a catalog?

3713 is at Steamtown being restored.
Wow, that's a looker! I don't care for the white line down the side of many loco's, but that red!!!
That is a sharp engine. I am limited a few 31 turns. My dream is to get rid of the 31s but it's a big project. Best of luck wit it if you do purchase.
How much did it cost?
Gary beautiful engine, enjoy!!

Last listed prices for 3 rail brass locomotives on their website. Approximately $1,095. Price to be announced on the 3713.
I was looking at this loco on the site and thinking - maybe it's time to buy a Weaver loco. I have none right now. Good looking loco.
Most of my Weaver brass locomotives have been purchased on the secondary market and upgraded to current electronic drive systems. The detail was always good.

Restored hopefully in our life time. I'll be getting a update from the chapter restoring her at the Amherst show in three weeks.
For those who won't be at Amherst's big train show, here is the online link to restoration progress:
Weaver hasn't made this beauty yet. I am checking regularly on when I can order. I bought the Lackawanna Pocono steam engine 2 years ago directly through Weaver.
