I agree. John's fix for the MTH F units is a huge improvement. A really good article all around.

Seriously!!!! That is dedication to the hobby. I have a set of the same F7's and have kept it stock so far. That jig for truck drilling is brilliant, me I just eyeball it with the drill press. Over all a great read.
I barely touch trains these days but I read the mags and occasionally troll around here. The last train I touched was a key Challenger on my bookshelf checking to see if the dust was collecting.
