Way back when K-Line was still a going concern, Nicholas Smith was a Superstore.  Their first floor had just about every K-Line item made at the time.  I haven't been there since then.  They don't list any K-Line on their website.

Does anyone know if any of that stuff is still there?

Thanks,

Fred

If you're planning on going there in person, they still have quite a bit of K-line along the back wall on the first floor of the store where the toys are, which seems somewhat counter intuitive given that all of the rest of the train stuff is upstairs.   Matt is correct in that they list their K-line stuff on the nicholassmithtoys.com website (as opposed to nicholassmithtrains.com), but it's certainly not comprehensive - I've definitely found things that weren't on the website while visiting the store.

K-Line?!?!?!  I'm surprised there's still a LHS around with more than 1 floor!!!

The first floor is a wonderland toy store, wherein we always leave some of our money when we visit back East.

The second floor is serious trainage. I suspect that the first floor pays the freight for the train stuff upstairs. If so, it's a great business model.

I always check the K-Line stuff on the first floor, but Smith's doesn't have anything I want anymore, else we'd leave even more money there.

I think the last 2-story HS I went to was HobbyMasters in Red Bank NJ, when I had to do some work at the Navy base in Earle.  We have a 2-story shop (Dales Train Station) down here but I think you have to make an appointment to see the 2nd floor.  It's been a few years since I was there so maybe that's changed.  But he does have a load of stuff.
