We will be up in Nicholson next Sunday. Does anyone know how often trains run that line and what times of the day. Will also be in Tunkhannock that weekend, Anything worth seeing in that area? Heard there is a caboose in a park there. And if time allows will try to get up to Susquehanna and the Starrucca Viaduct also. Any pointers for photo locations in that area would be welcome.

Check out both bridges, then take rt 92 up to Susquehanna, pa. Stop at the old station then make your way to Lanesboro to see the viaduct. Carbondale has an old D and H caboose in storage. For Pizza in Clarks Summit stop at Rosairos? It is at the second traffic light on the right side. Nicholson days is or was, they are restoring the old freight station. Jack Tylenda
They are not owned by NS...at least not yet. That deal has not closed yet. The sale will happen, but the official closing has not taken place yet.
NKP 765 will move across the Tunkhannock Viaduct several times in August and September.
