I have my order in for the Schaefer Beer reefer. I know the third reefer was Piels, what were the first two? Are there any orders being accepted for the Pie;s reefer?
I see MTH just did a Blast Product update e-mail for this car. It should be selling now!
Just ordered both numbers. Can't wait! Anyone have a piels reefer they want to sell? I'm just now getting on this NYC area beer reefer banwagon.
I hope the preliminary photo is wrong. Has anyone noticed that this turn of the century wooden refer has roller bearing trucks? Shouldn’t they be arch bar or Bettendorf trucks? Otherwise, a very nice refer.

I am the one that woks with MTH on these cars, what we posted was "Artwork" which is a representation of what the car will look like. I can assure you that when we make our order to MTH it will have Bettendorf Trucks on them when delivered.

Car 1 was made years ago, Ballentine Beer if I remember correctly. None Available.
Car 2 made last year, 2017 was the Rubsam & Hormann Brewing Company - 2 numbers #185 & 2003. We have maybe 1 or 2 cars left. I need to check and can get back to you. If not, they have been on Ebay and the price for each car has crept up to about $100.00 per car and $200.00 for the set.
Car 3, to be delivered in May / June 2018, late by 1 month, sorry to those that bought them, is the Piels Car. I may have a few left once we ship out all orders. (You can email me, kbmkam@aol.com).
Car 4, the current car, ORDERS CLOSE 5/28/2018. The most recent MTH Newsletter has the details or you can go to http://www.njhirailers.com/njhr-store and use PayPal. If you want, we will accept checks made to: NJ HiRailes and mail that to NJ HiRailer, 605 Alacci Way, River Vale, NJ 07675. Again, orders close May 28.
Car 5 - Not ready to release details yet but this is going to be a super cool never done before Beer Reefer.
Car 6 - will tie to car 5's theme.

All I can say is as long as you guys keep selling them, I'll keep buying them. I have three of the first car, and one of car 2, and 3-4 on order.
I think the confusion regarding the Ballentine car was due in part to Ben single-handedly cornering the market when Atlas offered them. I was fortunate to get one of these, as well.
