NJ International Signal Wiring

ZacOGR Forum Member DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

I'm adding the NJ International Ramapo switch signal to my layout. I'm using a Lionel accessory transformer to power the signal. When I wired it to the transformer to test it, I slowly added power. All I got was a brief flicker and then nothing. Now it won't even do that. Anyone have any experience with wiring these signals.

I do not have any experience with the signals. One explanation from your description is that they have LEDs in them and you burned them out with over voltage.
