So that's what a photo runby with 765 looks like... and sunlit too.
Good work, young man.
Nice video thanks.
Thank you for sharing. Weekends at the CVSR are always enjoyable.
Now I'm glad I didn't pay all that money to run 1/2 the time going backwards pulled by a diesel.
I'm glad you have all enjoyed it so far! They do a nice job with the photo runs. The stop the train right across from the Brandywine Ski Resort where there is a wide open field. Everyone gets off and the engine backs down around the curve then they bring it back at full throttle. They do it twice per trip and once I even think they did it three times.

What is that supposed to mean?
Would you rather we just parked it and not run there at all?
Steaming Jon, the price you paid was well worth it, no doubt about that. My reference was to the fact I almost purchased two seats in the Sky Dome car which would have cost me 10 times what you paid. I could just hear my wife now saying we paid all this money! This is like riding in the way back of an old station wagon facing the rear and seeing where you have been. Then she would ask me, well if the locomotive has a coupler on the front of it, why not just run it backwards pulling the train? You know women, they ask such silly questions.
(She grew up near Medina where the B&O often ran steam backwards from Lester into Medina because there was no place to turn the Mikados)
...why not just run it backwards pulling the train?
We can't do that because there is no place to RUN AROUND the train to get on the other end. The only sidings in service are at Peninsula and Fitzwater Yard.
Well done video.
Looks like you had a great time.

Thanks! It was a great deal of fun as always. Next weekend I'll be heading to the Age of Steam Roundhouse which will probably just as if not more fun.
Just did the Age of Steam Roundhouse 2 weekends ago. If you have never been there you will really enjoy it. The workers/volunteers are really top notch and will explain a ton. As I am sure they will tell you or already have take tons of pictures just don't post them anywhere.

Awesome. I'm hoping to go down their with a group sometime soon. I'm also planning to ride behind 765 next Sunday Oct. 4.
I have been to the outside of the roundhouse before. We walked the perimeter by the road one evening when my parents and I were RV camping in the area. They had dogs living on the other side of the fences!
Shame you cannot share photos or videos though once you are inside. Here's hoping they open it up to the public someday soon!
The Massillon Railroad Club offered an open invitation to anyone who liked trains in their Facebook group to sign up for the tour and I signed up immediately. I know a good number of their members from my time at Stockyard Express. Should be fun.
