NMRA MCR Division 2 Meeting - 2:30 pm June 23, 2024 - ALL are Invited!

Meeting: NMRA Mid-Central Region's Division 2, the Keystone Division, is meeting at 2:30 on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the Marshall Township Municipal Building, 525 Pleasant Hill Road, Suite 100 in Wexford, PA 15090. Bring your dad or bring your kids, as appropriate. The Bring-N-Brag contest starts at 2:00 PM.

All are invited! There are no fees to attend or obligation to join. Please come see what the NMRA is all about. And our membership drive is still going. Join with a 9-month RailPass on NMRA.org, bring proof of membership, and we will reimburse you for joining. It doesn't get much easier than that.

Program: Neal Schorr will present "Detailing the Right-of-Way". This promises to be extremely informative as Neal's layout depicts 7 different eras, each with its own detailed right-of-way.

Layout Tours: You can see Neal's fabulous layout that day as well. The Panhandle will also be open for viewing.

That certainly sounds like it would be a very informative program. I wish I lived closer. I would love to see the layouts too but unfortunately I am close to 6 hours away.

George, When I first read your notice, I thought, "oh bummer, I can't go. I have church, then have to visit Dad at the personal care home". Then I looked at the calendar and realized Father's day is the week before, as Jeff pointed out. While I have not seen your latest additions in person, I have never been available to see Neal's layout when he has had it open for visitors. I do know where the Marshall Township Building is. Keep your fingers crossed! Somehow other things get put on my schedule; kind of like it was at work!
