I am headed to the NMRA show in Portland next week, and I was just curious if any of you three-railers were heading there as well? There shouldn't really be anything related to 3-rail there, but it should be fun to talk to some of the manufacturers. Going or passing?

I'm not a 3-railer, and I couldn't get any time off to attend the convention (ironically, as I joined the NMRA specifically to attend it), but I will be going with some pals to the National Train Show tomorrow. I live less than 100 miles north of Portland, so it's not that bad a drive.
It's not going to be very good weather, though: http://forecast.weather.gov/Ma...5.59707#.VeCIEi_JDL8 I'll probably be driving right through the worst of the weather tomorrow morning to get there, then we'll be hitting all the hobby shops we can (and maybe the enginehouse with 4449/700 and the ALCO PA in it over by OMSI) as time (and any damage from the storm) allows.
i am a 3 railer and i am going today. Daughter lives about 5 miles from the show, so while wifee and her are shopping I will be at the show.
