Before I open it up and look for a loose wire etc, is there a command for turning on and off the headlight? If so, where. I see one for ditch lights, but not the headlight.
And yes, tried different bulbs

Sure glad it wasn't too obvious or I'd feel dumb 
Tried it, still no light so I guess I open it up if my vision ever gets back to normal. Hard to take it apart when I'm seeing two of everything and have no depth perception.

Many times it is how the terminal in the socket is positioned. With bulb unscrewed do you see the center terminal and is it centered. May actually be able to maneuver with out removing shell. G

It was a bit off center, but also looked like it was push back a bit. Added a little drop of solder on the end of the bulb and it's now working.

Have to do that with the new bulbs all the time. Glad it was simple. G
