A friend of mine in England just told me about this. A squadron or more WWII Spitfires found buried in the jungle in Burma. No, it's not a new found NYC Hudson, but, depending on your interests, it is one heck of a find. Read about it here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/new...ma-flying-years.html

Awesome! Having seen a Griffon engined Spit fly, I can tell you this is one heck of a find! Any time someone can resurrect a WWII era aircraft to flying condition, its worth celebrating.

It's too bad that they cannot resurrect a Mosquito. One of the most unique Airplanes Of WW2-- airframe was laminated wood, skin was fabric. throwback to WW1.
There is a flying Mosquito rebuilt in New Zealand from a former Canadian Air Force that will sometime in 2013 be at her new home in Virginia at the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach. You could catch the new Amtrak line to Norfolk, Virginia and rent a car to get to the museum. And you could see the o gauge train display that the Children's Museum in Portmouth, Virginia.
