NO new VISION line offerings in new catalog

They are being kind and giving us a chance to give our credit card a cooling off period from the BBs.

This comes up about every catalog release that doesn't contain vision line products.

The vision line stuff was never intended to be regular release items in every catalog.

Given the last VL product had a street price of $2K, I wasn't expecting to see another high-priced VL announcement this year.  With so much product delivered/dumped into the last two months of 2014, lots of folks are simply tapped out.  

A special flyer is always a possibility, but I just don't think a VL offering is in the cards for this year -- and most certainly not for delivery this year.

This shouldn't be a surprise-Lionel stated there wouldn't be a VL product already.

Somewhere I think they mentioned VL products are going to be about two years apart

...and the 21 inch Southern passenger cars are not aluminum.   

The days of aluminum passenger car production are coming to a close at Lionel. Mike Reagan and I had a really good discussion about the reasons why. It's all in the new Notch 6 Lionel Catalog special. I hope you'll check it out. It should answer many of your questions. 

Lionel stated sometime last year that there would be no vision line engine this year. 

That's good. It gives them plenty of time to come up with somethingcompletely NEW for the next VL engine. Not a re-issue with new features.
