I have two mainlines, 6x14, a passing siding around the outer main curve on one end, two spurs(1 on each side off the inner main, and 72 inch radius switch on the upper left and one on the lower right. The outer main works perfect and the passing siding as well. the power wire connect on the inside of that loop. They connect on the outside of the inner main. The curve where the train runs fine when near the power connector on the inner until it gets to the spur, then the power dies, UNLESS I manually push another locomotive from the outer main onto the inner one then the entire inner loop lights up. The train will make a continuous run USUALLY so long as the switch on the lower right is set for the train to move to the outer loop, since it is going the other direction it straightens the switch and if I switch it back the train will run, if I switch the outer one for the outer train to go forward, the inner train dies at the spur on the other side. If the switch on the inner loop is set straight, the inner train dies. What do I do to fix this?

Some track switches have built-in power routing functionality.
It sounds like yours may have that.
What sort of switches are you using?
mth realtrax

I am not familiar with MTH realtrax.
The simplest solution would be to add feeders to the section that is loosing power.
To find out whether your switches are power routing, check the instructions that came with the switch, or check the MTH website.
Do you own a voltmeter? That would be the tool I would use to start trouble-shooting an electrical problem.
You need a voltmeter to check the tabs on the realtrax are making connection to the track itself. I had numerous problems with brand new realtrax till I figured out that the welds between the tabs and the track were no good...This may be part of your problem.

You can also use a lighted car or caboose to test the track power.

I forgot to check the tabs and will do so.
