@Ggg and gunrunner John , Jon Glasson

I’m working on 30-1602-1 steam engine I replaced both tender and boiler boards.  Then added software using ps3 test fixture , everything worked fine,  1 smph ok . So I install the boards in the tender and boiler , start up with DCS and get a runaway.

I check the tack board gray to blue wires and get no voltage  there. I check wires from tach board to plug ok perfect continuity.
Where else could there be a loss of power ? Where does the power come from ?
also looking for ps3production wiring diagram for steam engine

thanks guys

Grj that’s  what thought , I have more testing to do on the wiring.

Ggg if the tach board is blown wouldn’t there be voltage at the gray and blue wires .

I took both boards  out again and put it back on the PS3 test board

still everything works fine there, but not in the engine

I have to check the draw bar thru cables later tonight

I have  to figure out what’s missing battery + voltage or ground .
