I received my new Wifi unit yesterday and went ahead and hooked it up per manufacturer directions just to find that I received the No Wiu/TIU Found error. Went thru all the usual checks, tablet set on MTH WIFI, serial port cable hooked up, bought new serial cable and tried it to find no connection.
Walked away and came back up stairs to do a search on this great web site. I find a tab that says TIU needs to be up to date, app needs latest update and here is the catch. The WIU need the latest Firmware.
I find two videos' on YouTube from Train World that tell you how to upload the Firmware file to your computer and then the second video tells you how to send this Firmware wirelessly to the Wifi unit.
Now all trains work flawlessly thanks to this forum
