After two months, Amtrak restarted Pennsylvanian service between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia today. Unfortunately, the P42DC on the consist stored in Pittsburgh's Penn Station had not had its FRA 180 day inspection, so Norfolk Southern sent a Dash 9 to pull the train at least as far as Harrisburg. Because the train was delayed 4 hours, I woke up in time to see it, and caught it heading past the Union Railroad in East Pittsburgh at about 1:00 today.

I also included the NS MOW workers who effectively took over the line after the train went past.
